Tour opening concert in Forget

"It's not just the instrumentation that sends out that clean, clear, enveloping sound, it's the fusion of Shawn and Wolfgang themselves.  The give and take, of both the lead and friendly on-stage banter makes you feel like you're an integral part of the music-making process of Shawn and the Wolf.  They make it look easy, which shows just how good they are.  As a venue operator, I know that I don't have a thing to worry about - they show up in plenty of time, they entertain with their musical antics, their dress and decorum are above reproach and their music is phenomenal.  I would recommend them without hesitation, and look forward to having them back a fourth time!

The Happy Nun Cafe

This year, once again, we started our Canada Tour with a concert in Forget, Saskatchewan. Its always a joy to see Shannon & Don and their family again. Their „Happy Nun Cafe“ has become one of our favorite places to play, set in the beautiful inspirational Canadian prairies. We call it our „world headquarters“, SWHQ. We are planning to record our first CD there in the fall of 2011. See this place`s specialness for yourself:

Auftaktkonzert Canada Tour 2010

Auch dieses Jahr haben wir unsere Tour in Canada traditionell mit dem Auftaktkonzert in Forget begonnen. Es ist immer wieder ein Highlight Shannon & Don und Ihre Familie wiederzusehen. Das Happy Nun Cafe, welches an einem der schönsten und inspirierendsten Ort der Welt mitten in der Prärie liegt, ist für uns zum absoluten Lieblingsort geworden.

Wir nennen es nun das SWHQ - Shawn & the Wolf Headquarter. Für das Jahr 2011 planen wir dort unsere erste CD-Produktion. Aber sehen Sie selbst. Film ab!
